DearDoc, a leading SaaS business specializing in the artificial intelligence space for doctors, is looking for a Vice President, Business Development to drive the company's strategic imperatives and execute on partnerships. We need a seasoned negotiator who is able to construct solutions that satisfy the business partner's needs and objectives and further enhance our relationships with major publishers, Patient Management Softwares, and strategic partners.
We are looking for someone who is analytical, operational, strategic, and persistent, while being able to recognize potential business development initiatives. Job duties include:
- Qualitatively and quantitatively evaluate potential business deals by aligning DearDoc strategy, ability to execute, potential impact and time to value to help align prioritization. We need someone that can work both strategically on select relationships and programmatically build a framework for turn-key relationships.
- Oversee execution of each opportunity through close collaboration with internal product and marketing team in addition to strong project management skills to motivate partners to a successful outcome.
- Expand relationships with existing partners by uncovering expansion opportunities, developing and driving go-to-market strategies.
- Identify and track relevant metrics of success to deliver regular performance updates to partners and internal constituents.
- Serve as a key member of the leadership team that sets the company’s strategic direction.
- Analyze the trends and potential of new and existing markets that are consistent with DearDoc’s goals and mission.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners, including a large publisher network, Patient Management Softwares, other SaaS companies, and specialty consultants.
- Be able to close deals and move the deal through the pipeline from lead to launch.
- Develop strategy to acquire the highest potential partners; Lead outreach and acquisition of these partners.
- Marshall cross-functional resources to provide high-impact support to partner campaigns.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the technology sector that spans startups and Fortune 500 companies.
Qualifications
Who you are and what you know:
- 3-5+ years of biz dev and sales experience
- Proactive, strong work ethic, motivated
- Adept at working with publisher partner and Patient Management Software leadership to overcome obstacles to doing business
- Ability to advance your agenda in discussions and negotiations to ensure a win-win outcome
- Strong communication skills, including client presentations
- Strong attention to detail, and the ability to develop a project plan with milestones and deadlines (and be able to lead the teams to achieve these target goals)
- Creative and critical thinker
- Strong at written and verbal communication
- Proven, tangible results in Business Development
- Proven experience starting from scratch to develop, negotiate and structuring complex deals
