As an Inside Sales Training Manager you will be responsible for a team of newly minted Sales Development Reps and full-cycle sales reps and their cumulative monthly sales goal. Your primary responsibility will be to coach your direct reports so they continue to improve in their sales function, as well as to develop them professionally within the organization. In addition to improving the sales skills of your reps through direct coaching, you are tasked with creating and supporting an environment where motivated professionals can succeed to the top of their potential – this includes finding creative incentives, developing competitions and connecting on a personal level with your reps to challenge them to achieve maximum productivity. You are expected to work dynamically across all departments of the organization, and to be organized and thorough in your reporting to Senior Sales Management.
What you'll do:
- Interview, hire, develop and coach sales talent and skills to ensure productivity is maximized while also providing customer experience that is in line with company values
- Welcome, onboard and orient new hires to company culture, values and expectations
- Take a “hands on” approach to coach and develop your team to be sales rock stars
- Create an environment of motivation and excitement in order to enable reps to achieve their peak ability
- Coordinate and effectively communicate with other sales managers to ensure alignment between teams
- Monitor and report on performance of sales reps for metric achievement and ensure continuous improvement action plans are in place
- Communicate changes in product and/or process and tracking implementation
- Planning and facilitating daily team check-ins to provide continuing education, industry updates and sales tactics
- Conduct weekly 1x1’s and listening sessions with employees for continuous feedback and improvement
- Ensure the sales organization exceeds sales and customer experience objectives
About You:
- Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree is highly desirable
- 1-2+ years of Sales experience in high volume SaaS startup
- Proven track record of success as a sales rep
- Strong organizational, written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience leading, managing or mentoring other sales professionals at DearDoc
- Expert problem solver
- Outstanding presentation and teaching skills
- Strong Excel and Salesforce skills
